3D TV INFORMATIONS

2010 is the year where 3D technology is expected to be released and take over the market. Most people are waiting for this technology to be available for them to purchase. Major television manufacturers like Sony, LG, JVC, Mitsubishi, TCL and Panasonic are doing their best to produce the best 3D televisions.

Sony 3D TelevisionsWith all 3D televisions however, when watching the movies you need to wear three dimensional glasses to see 3D images. 3D glasses are responsible for creating the 3D image effect for the viewer’s eyes. By 2011, major television manufacturers will definitely release a 3D television that can be watched without wearing 3D glasses. For now though, let us discuss what 3D television can offer currently.

There are very few channels that offer 3D programming. Some broadcasters are just beginning to develop a 3D network but will not probably have them available until 2011. These television networks naturally will offer sports, entertainment and documentary channels.

For people who love playing video games, you will also be able to fully take advantage of 3D television features. There is already games software and hardware that is compatible with 3D television so that gamers can play their favorite games in 3D.

There a few drawbacks of 3D televisions that irritates most consumers. As mentioned above only a few channels, movies and sporting events can be watched using your three dimensional television set. Another is that the viewer has to wear 3D glasses for viewing. Is is also said that wearing 3D glasses for too long will cause severe headaches and other symptoms. Lastly is the cost, 3D television is more expensive than other televisions of its kind.

Home television technology has improved so much in the last 20 years, with flat screen LCD HD TV’s being commonplace, that TV manufacturers are now building specially designed 3D televisions. Samsung, Sony and Panasonic are at the forefront of this wave of releases. Although glasses are still needed, they are very different to those of the 1980’s. Each brand of TV comes with their own brand of glasses, although they are fairly similar in their design and their look, they vary enough to warrant some research before purchase of any TV. The latest Panasonic 3d television, the Viera TX-P50VT20 is a plasma flat screen Samsung 3D Televisionshigh definition TV available in a very large 50 inch screen size. Viewing on this home unit will truly take home entertainment to the next level. A 3D television Samsung has recently brought to market is very comparable to the Panasonics Viera, the Samsung 7000 is a beautiful slick looking television which again takes home entertainment firmly into the 21st Century.

As with all Television choices, there are other aspects to take into account such as integrated DVD’s, Bluray, integrated digital receiver etc. Whatever your choice, it is sure to please the whole family.

3D TV QUALITY

It seems that 3D TV is becoming quite a desirable item for the consumer. According to surveys, around 46% of American people want to have a 3D television in their home.  It is predicted that over 1.2 million consumers will purchase a 3D television by 2011. 3D television is one of the newest breakthroughs released by the television industry on to the market.

3D televisions have their advantages and disadvantages. The great advantage is you can experience excellent quality pictures in three dimensional images from the comfort of your own living room. You don’t have to go to a theater to enjoy 3D films. It is also has great potential for people who love to play computer and video games.

The disadvantages include the following. 3D television is not yet fully developed and is still in its infancy. You have to watch 3D movies, events, or channels using 3D glasses. You cannot see the three dimensional images without wearing these. Plus, you have to sit directly in front of the television for you to see the images as it is not a possible to view effectively at a wide angle.

Purchasing a 3D television is also more expensive than other television conventional models. Normally, it is higher by around $200 to $300 than a full high definition TV. There are also people who might have problems watching 3D images. These are people with amblyopia also called lazy eye and people with astigmatism. People that have astigmatism will have problems detecting the depth of the 3D images.

3D TVs can already be purchased now in the market. Mitsubishi and Samsung have already begun selling 3D ready televisions to the market. Some leading television manufacturers have already started manufacturing the 3D television and some are developing how they can offer 3D television without use of the 3D glasses.

With the recent release of some block busting Hollywood movies in three-dimensional format, most notable of all being Avatar, which became the largest grossing movie of all time, 3D technology has been back in the spot light. 3D television technology is actually nothing new, in fact three dimensional film technology has been around since the 1950’s.

3D is quite simply the filming of motion picture in such a way as to increase the viewer’s perception of depth, creating the illusion of the film jumping off the screen in such a way as you feel like you can reach out and touch it. The high cost involved in the production of 3D movies is the reason that there has been such a long gap between the creation of the technology and the recent release of televisions. Three-dimensional movies had a surge on the late 1980’s and 1990’s when IMAX cinemas brought them to the general public. During that era there where attempts to break the 3D home television market, many people will remember the rather flimsy cardboard glasses with red and blue plastic lenses. This turned out to be a passing fad as there was limited TV to watch and quality was quite low. It would be fair to say that the latest re-emergence of television technology is here to stay this time.

FEATURES OF 3D TV

Viewing 3D movies, or three-dimensional movies, have become the in-thing nowadays. There have been 3D movies in the past, but nowhere near as prolific as in today’s film world; 3D movies come out by the dozen every year or so.

The 3D that we see in movies and the 3D that we experience in video games and other computer-generated media are quite different from each other. The latter only presents a simulated “feeling” of the 3D involving advanced software rendering techniques. The former, also called stereoscopic 3D, is more of the real thing; it involves real depth by using video capturing techniques that mimic the operation of our eyes.

Several years ago, only some of the highly privileged were fortunate to bring 3D TV technology into their home theatre systems. Now, with the cost of the technology going down, people are clamoring for 3D TV systems into their own homes.

There are three options for 3D TV intended for home theatres: projection-based 3D large screens, plasma TV, and auto stereoscopic 3D displays. All three of these systems have advantages and disadvantages.

2010 has brought us a lot more than just a backlit LCD TV. This year the 3D television was released and the reviews are phenomenal. This television is capable of 3D technology that until now has only been seen in theaters. The picture quality is awesome, in fact most models provide a slim profile with an amazing view. The picture quality is frequently provided by light emitting diodes. This technology is combined with a backlighting system that only gives you the best pictures available. But, within the next few years this technology may be topped as well, with the possibility of OLED TV.

3d television technology has reached a level that seems to be thriving within the consumers of America. When you’re looking for your very own 3D featured television, be sure to look at the refresh rate. The higher the refresh rate is, the better the 3D will be. The average refresh rate for 3D is 240 HZ. Finding anything lower than that just won’t give you the experience any 3D lover deserves. With some newer 3D models, glasses aren’t needed to see the in 3D!

The 3D television Samsung models are some of the best options available to consumers. This brand provides top of the line 3D viewing experience. The backlight provided with this brand is top notch and is ready to please any tech savvy individual. Experiencing TV in 3D is an experience that every TV user should experience. Samsung isn’t your only choice, 3D television sets are available in many brands. The top brands go to Samsung and Panasonic 3D television sets. These 3D ready televisions seem to be hitting consumers like a storm, maybe it’s time everybody had a chance to check all of the available models out.

Finding a 3D LCD television for yourself shouldn’t be too hard of a task. This can easily be done at your favorite electronic store or even on the web! Searching by prices, brands, models and reviews will be the smartest choice you could make in this kind of purchase. Finding a 3D television for yourself only takes a little time and consideration. Soon enough you’ll have the 3D TV that you’ve always dreamed of owning. Deciding on your own personal model is truly half of the fun when it comes to the purchase of a 3D TV. There are now so many models and brands that even the most demanding consumer can find an option that is right for them.
